What services does the Ukrainian House in Latvia provide?
“Ukrainian House in Latvia” offers a wide range of services for the Ukrainian community: psychological support (individual and group classes, art therapy), educational programs (courses of Ukrainian language, literature, history, and soon – Latvian and English languages), creative circles (drawing, dancing, singing, playing the bandura), as well as organizing cultural events and providing humanitarian aid through cooperation with the Ziedot.lv foundation.
Who can attend classes and events at the Ukrainian House?
Our doors are open to all Ukrainian citizens temporarily or permanently residing in Latvia, regardless of age or status. We are also happy to see representatives of other nationalities who are interested in Ukrainian culture and want to join our initiatives.
Are there classes for children at your center?
Yes, we pay special attention to children. We have drawing, dancing, singing, acting clubs, and the Ukrainian scout organization PLAST. In addition, children can participate in Ukrainian language and culture classes, as well as receive psychological support from specialists.
How can I receive humanitarian aid through the Ukrainian House?
To receive humanitarian aid, please contact the distribution point, which operates on the basis of the Ukrainian House. We cooperate with the charitable foundation Ziedot.lv, so you will need to provide basic information about yourself and your needs. You can find out the opening hours of the point on our website or by phone.
